Laboratory Testing

Occasionally GEA FlatPlate requires heat transfer testing on new models and experimental units and we encourage any U.S. College or University with a Heat Transfer Department & Lab to contact us. If there is an interest in testing GEA FlatPlate units, we will provide the test unit at no cost, with the understanding that specific heat transfer test data be taken and provided to GEA FlatPlate.

  • Water to Water- Standard and Alternate Designs
  • Air to Water- Standard and Alternate Designs, at 0 psig and 100 psig
  • SAE30 Oil to Water
  • Hydraulic Oil to Water
  • Steam to Water, 4 psig Steam
